Good books on Venture Capital?
so annoyed! asked:
Could anyone recommend a few good books on the VC industry? The process of evaluating investments, transactions, their day-to-day involvement with portfolio companies, and exiting? Preferably not a textbook, but it doesn’t have to be dumbed-down either. I am just looking for a good insight into what takes place in a VC’s office on a day-to-day basis and how they decide on deals.

check amazon or join an online discussion board geared toward vc
I’ve attached a couple books that may work for you:
The first is pretty technical and may bore you but it gets into the complexities of term sheets and valuation without overemphasizing the obvious; short but good.
The second book I haven’t actually read, but it is pretty well received and looks to be a more complete overview than the first book I recommended. I would look into it if you want to know more about what happens inside a vc firm.
Hopefully this was of some help,
